However Judd V* is used nowadays in these classic models is calling this a Judd blasphemy on german car history. Go check some of the old Bergrennen and DTM videos around to see what european touringcars is about. This car the MB 190 EVO 4cyl 2.5 16v EVO, together with the old M3 of BMW are considered has historical milestones by anyone who knows anything about racing in Europe. The sound and power are legendary.
German engineering at his very best. This car is also in GT4.

This is most definitely a 4 cylinder. The intake hits harder and it gives the 4 cylinder "gobb" in the exhaust. I do also perfer the inline 4. It screams it's hat off!

4 stroke dtm sound
This is the old Mercedes 190 E 2,5 EVOII with it's original 2,5 litre inline 4
The car is not Brenner's, but swissman Reto Meisel's.
Both converted to Judd V8, but that video here is a very old clip, where Meisel still ran the original DTM engine, which is a 2,5 litre inline 4.
Note the glorious induction sound!!!
