HEARDS Project - Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh

HEARDS (Chitoor District, Andhra Pradesh) is a project that Vibha has been funding since 2005 . The main focus of the project is to eradicate child labor, rescue children, provide them with bridge-education and mainstream them to government schools. The project operated in two locations - CB Road and Thotapalyam.

Recently they informed us that they are moving one of their centers from Thotapalyam to another place. They did that because with their persistent effort over the last several years, they have SUCCESSFULLY ERADICATED CHILD LABOR from the slum in Thotapalyam
