"2011 Biwako Dai Hanabi Taikai," or Fireworks Show at Lake Biwa was held on August 8 in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, which is showcase summer on Lake Biwa.
Lake Biwa is the largest lake in Japan.
The event attracts more than 350,000 visitors from the Kyoto-Osaka-Kobe area every year.
Fireworks shows are traditional Summer event in Japan, but this Biwako Firerwoks Show is particularly beautiful.
The fireworks were launched from two stand onboard floated on the lakeside. Around 10,000 large-scale fireworks filled the night sky, and the fireworks reflected in the surface of a lake were very beautiful.
This fireworks display is really amazing, spectacular, awesome event! So, if you visit to Osaka, Kyoto, Shiga or Japan in Summer, go to this Fireworks festival!
