I never throw away my cooking oil. I reuse it as fuel or to impregnate wood

Triglycerides is the problem with reusing old fat not the sediment. It is unsafe to recycle old oil by removing the sediments.

b s. eventually you have to throw it out. i don't care HOW well you strain it. especially if you cook meat in it. nice looking container though.

FYI...Its not a STRAINER, its a FILTER...Big Difference. Fast food restaurants use their friers several hundred times or more each day BEFORE Filtering their oil.(Hash browns, Fish sticks, French Fries, Nuggets, etc). This device uses a "Cook Once-Then Filter" process which greatly extends the life of the oil. And adding oil to the process each time also adds to the life of the oil and renews the color. Ive recycled my oil for over 3 years. Huge savings for the environment and my pocketbook.

Oil breaks down when it comes in contact with Light, Air & Water. This product eliminates those factors as well as filtering it down to ~ 15 microns. Its not like your constantly reusing the same oil either....foods absorb ~15-25% of the oil, therefore you must add fresh oil back into your frying pan each time. Ive used the same oil (except for adding additional oil) for over 3 years and have yet to throw it away and it still performs fine. (I'll let you know when I finally throw it away)
