Chasm: The Rift - Episode 3 (Part 1 of 2)

Chasm: The Rift is a first-person shooter released in 1997 by Action Forms and Wizardworks.

Although it has limitations as shown in it's level designs, it also has features other games haven't used yet or have yet to utilize.

Certain weapons can hack off an enemy's limbs, which is handy when the enemy in question has a ranged weapon. Each of the four bosses has a certain method of defeating, so simply shooting at them will not kill them.

This is the first levels from the third episode of the game, which takes place in the 11th century AD, in a Medieval town.

E3M1 is a town square area, which introduces new enemies including Vikings, Jokers, and Werehogs. The Punishers from the previous episode return for this episode. The final two weapons found in this episode are Land Mines, and the Mega Destroyer. Both weapons will see use in parts of this episode.

E3M2 takes place at a castle, complete with a throne room, library, dungeon, and other places.
