@MetalSnakesUK The fights u refer to with open palm strikes are pancrase,not MMA/UFC.No closed fist strikes to the head and 1 15 min. round for non title bouts and 1 30 min. round for titlebouts

EVERY strike is for the power with him, He doesnt piss around with chipping at guys, He goes for the cold floor effect every strike, Which I love, The fight looks like it is going to be over every second, Rarely gasses.

the "slapping" was a rule back then i think? (anyone?) but it sooo isnt a "slap" is it? its a rock hard palm-heel strike to the face that would put 99% of us in hospital. bas is such a great character for the sport i cant get enough of him, his whole era was awesome :-)

@MetalSnakesUK The rules was open palm strikes to the head and closed fists to the body, and Bas came up with the idea to strike with the bone further down the hand instead of the "bitch slaps".
