Will you be doing a video of your impression of the MEI Voyageur? I'll be doing a RTW trip of many months, perhaps a year or more. Would you suggest the Voyageur? Is it well built and able to stand up to long travel? Thanks for a very interesting video.

That seems a lot of gear to have fit in this smaller bag. I'd really have liked to see the packing or unpacking since it's pretty hard to believe!

@Cantoni52 - There is no doubt the MEI Voyager is well built and able to stand up to long travel. I ended up switching to the Deuter Futura 28 because it is smaller, and therefore more portable/navigable for me. I found with the Voyager - which can hold a LOT of things - that because it had the space, I used it. So it got quite heavy to lug around for my taste. You might be able to resist that temptation, so it could work perfectly. I really like the MEI Voyager and would highly recommend it.

I was surprised it all fit too. The three ring binder took up the most room. I don't usually travel with the binder, but was teaching a class from the material in the binder on this trip. It all fit easily enough that I didn't have to do any super cramming or anything. I packed and unpacked 5 times with ease. It's a 28L backpack (Deuter Futura 28). Next time, since I will be travelling lighter, I will likely go with a 22L backpack. I'll try to do a packing/unpacking vid next time.
