Here is a live performance I did using the G2M with a Line 6 HD500 (Patches B3-Sax-HD500 Guitar) --- Paste ths to youtube: KingGypsy/Matt Rainey "Born to Sing the Blues"

I can hear it in 2020 "nobody bends the sax like RobbyMc Bobby"
-
Could it be pluged directly to a pc with midi/gameport?
-
Amazing but does it track volume too or even has a Yamaha breathcontroller input jack?
-
MIDI !

@yohppoy You are correct, only one note at a time. For 99% of people, 99% of the time this is not a limitation because it's exactly what you want to do: play solos, fills with naturally monophonic instruments (sax, cello, etc). Arpeggios are ok too, since only 1 note at a time.

@BuddhaMaster84 We did a better video with Dan in Jan 2011. Look for the video: "sonuus G2M V2 NAMM11 -- Dan Lawson plays saxophone (V2)"

Yes, a MIDI/gameport on a PC will work fine. It's standard MIDI, so it will work with any MIDI input, including the gameport MIDI adapters.

It tracks note-on velocity, but not volume (i.e., changes in level while a note is being played). However, our new i2M musicport does track the level (envelope) of the signal.
