  • I would love to try this carving but I have no drwing ability. I love the simplicity of the pattern. I have watched this video a dozen of more times and just wante to say thanks also to ask if the flower pattern is avalible anywhere.

  • @rosiethebear300 thank you very much. I am really happy that you finished your piece. It is a wonderful thing to be able to carve and loose yourself in it. Being afraid is the worst enemy of carvers but the best thing is...... you can start again. The clamps are veritas. You can google them. Good luck and if you ever need a teacher just set up a course and we will be more than happy to come and teach.

  • One of the best how to videos I,ve seen - nice choice of music. You've inspired me to finish a carving of a flower I started a couple of years ago. I sometimes get afraid because I don't know how to sharpen my carving tools properly - my Dad used to do it for me and he did show me but I couldn't get the hang of it .Hint hint!

    What are those carving clamps called? Thanks for uploading - really great!
