  • Hey is this the USDM MR2 from 92 or is this the Euro spec/JDM spec MR2. If it is the USDM Spec it is 130BHP stock, same as my 91 NA, the 94+ models were 135 NA and the turbo was 200 91-93 94+ it was 205BHP. Euro/JDM Specs was more BHP and the NA engine was different than then USDM engine.

  • This is the Euro MR2 (the 150bhp model)

  • Whats the mileage? Stock bhp for this car was 156 but will have reduced somewhat over time. I have the same model and mine is on 107k miles with an induction kit and custom exhaust and its not this fast.

  • it was 150k miles i believe, was a v cold night when this was recorded

  • HP?

  • as far as im aware standard they are 155bhp so even taking into account the fact its got an induction kit becauase of the age i would say its prob running around 140bhp

  • @sofranko102 damn that is high. Found a 93 MR2 with a body kit, Turbo, 5 spd and like 115k miles for 3000 even like 5 months ago. Almost bought it, but just ended up putting a new rear end in my 97 crown vic police interceptor. Now i just gotta tune it up and get my power back, that way its jumping fire, it looks liek a blue laser light show under my hood at night, lol. gotta love the roar of the v8

  • hey, where can ya get them white dails in kph version?

  • Im looking for an average MR2, doesn't have to be in 100% great condition in Kentucky. Found an 87 MR2 in really good exterior and interior condition for $2000, but found out the sycronizer was out of 5th gear, and it's not worth putting a tranny in it and paying that kind of money. I'm looking for one under 160k miles, any generation MR2

  • YAY LETS SPREAD THE JOY OF MR2's ALL DAY LONG!!!!!!

  • Got a 92 NA too, they're very fast but not in the league of EVO6's, Scoobies etc lol.

My friends 240bhp Teg smokes it, obviously, So I don't see you beating them unless it IS a turbo.

MR2's are the shit though! Wouldn't have anything else.

  • @mike1968uk

Does it have a turbo or nah?

Im about to get myself a 1992 MR2.. God I cant wait... I would like to get a turbo but I dont know much about them... And I dont want to get one that has shaft play and fuck my life up ha

  • mike1968uk, probs an N/A scoob WRX/STI look alike, plenty about. As for the rest I doubt they were trying and the same for the EVO6. I own a non turbo MR2 import (1991) with de-cat, TRD exhaust, filter and manifold, upgraded fuel pump, air scoop and full re-map all professionally done. It has a proven 187bhp and would never come close to any of the cars you mentioned.

  • i can actuali back him up on that cos i av been in his car when hes dun it

  • lmaooo why dream of somethin when i never thrash it? iknow it doid it so do others so hey i not worried over it..lol
