Its the turbos dumping on one of the diesel LMP1 cars.

Very hard to evaluate how fast they go by but believe it, they are coming very, very fast! Extremely challenging for the non-LMP's who need to get out of the way...Pure thrill for the spectator, day and night!

@trafficdodger thanks for your appreciation..Just wanted to add that I had the opportunity to confirm my observation again this year at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2011, there at the Tertre Rouge but also on the edge of Arnage curb at 2.00AM! My first time in Arnage at night...It was Just UNBELIEVABLE! Sounds, show and smell in the middle of the pinetrees forest! I'll never forget!
