In hip hop, it's important to know how to isolate your body movements by being able to use parts independently of each other.

Isolate Your Neck
First, you need to learn how to isolate you neck. From the side of your neck, push in one direction without tilting or moving your head. 
The point of this exercise is to be able to move your neck in all directions without shifting your head. Practice going forward, back and to the side. Now try to do the sides smoothly by going all the way around in a circle.
Isolate Your Torso
Now do the same thing with your torso. Stick your torso out and to the side. Go straight forward and to the side on the same side of your body. 
Try to make it a smooth movement. Don't move your neck or head when doing this isolation.

Isolate Your Hips
For this you can use your knees a little bit to cheat. Relax your knees and bring your hips forward. 
Then take your hips to the side and then to the back. Practice rotating in the opposite direction until you can isolate your hips smoothly.

Put It Together
Now that you have achieved isolation in all your body parts, you can combine them together. You can bring your hand up and push to the side while isolating your neck in the same direction. 
Now do the same with your ribs, and hips but bring it back to the original position. Switch sides so you can do it all directions.
