What a great video.....made me homesick. I am originally from Belle, WV, but most of my family is from the Beckley, Bradley, Prince, Quinnimont, and Oak Hill areas. Thanks for allowing me to enjoy a little bit of the WV hills and WV firefighting once again.

I was a member of this department for 18 years no better men have I ever known.

As i watch this video && the 100 year one, it makes me stop && realize how much has changed since my dad (Lt.Tigert) retired but there's somethings that will always remain the same. I truely do miss comin up to the station && just hangin out. There's a special bond between all the firefighters and their familys that no one can seem to put their finger on. Thanks for all your help && support over the years.

very nice video!!! i am a firefighter/emt in the area of Hickory, North Carolina. i am originally from Naoma, West Virginia, about 10 minutes from Whitesville and about 45 minutes from Beckley. i came to NC when dad got laid off from the coal mines in Marshfork about 14 years ago. i really miss West Virginia. Next time i am up that way i will stop by and visit with you guys. Stay Safe Brothers and take care.
