How come the border around the screen is black instead of the most common white? Everyone else i've seen has the white border. Where did you purchase this?

Of course it is, but it's better. Asus made the market segment, and MSI, HP, and Acer are improving upon it. Personally, I think Asus did great with the original EEE, but each revision gets more expensive and less attractive to me.
