He is on that DVD. He plays as a guest on the songs he originally did with the band (I can think of this one, We'll Burn the Sky and In Trance). Herman Rarebell and Michael Schenker also feature on some songs. I don't know about the new one as I haven't seen it yet if that was the one you were referring too.
