Ok I know this is a long tutorial, and probablly outdone, but I wanted to show how I manicure my nails every week. I know there are a lot of steps, but I am in recovery from acrylic nails. I have to keep my nails short because I am a nursing student, and am not allowed to have long nails. Some steps can be eliminated if you wish to give yourself a quick manicure. I like to pamper myself 1/wk with a manicure... This process generally takes me 45min to an hour including all steps. I use both nail magic and the thickener because I want my nails to be stronger, especially since they are in water alot working with patients, so the added strength helps me. Once my nails are strong enough (generally 3-6 wks after acrylic removal) then I only use the nail magic. You don't have to use a basecoat if you are going to pain your nails, I just am OCD and wish not to have yellow on my nails. It has taking me a long time to get my nails whiter (especially my middle fingers, i think that's hereditary) I think the whitening paste really helps and having the extra layers before the nailpolish itself. Also because my memory ran out, the steps that were omitted was applying cuticle oil to my cuticles.
