Squawking and Screaming

These are the sounds Ron makes as a red fox does to communicate to another fox that what he has is HIS and ONLY his! No sharing! Particularly if it is something as unusual and interesting as Mr Turtle!

Ron is a pet red fox I bought from a licensed exotic animal breeder, in Oklahoma, captive-bred and hand-raised. My state of Arkansas allows pet foxes without any permit needed.
He enjoys a large outdoor habitat and also a small indoor caged spot in my living room. Foxes are said to make 'bad' pets, but I would rather say foxes make wonderful pets!... just rather destructive, moody pets, NOT FOR CHILDREN.

Ron is more wild than many pet foxes.. he is very scared of strangers, and just runs and hides.

He doesn't sound frustrated, sounds more like laughing! The critter is naturally a predator out in the wild so maybe he feels that predatory excitement he is missing from the wild.
