@ThanatopicalRape True to both cases, least his records remain

@prodigy45 Agreed - Tyranny is intense.....And unfortunately no, I have no clue, all I know is, is that it's over for him now. Which he himself is most likely thankful for.

@ThanatopicalRape Do you know what he died of? Another good band that would be of the torture, agony, and anger of funeral doom would be Tyranny.

@DisembowelMe >>> The band Colosseum is a prime example of this ~ Their frontman Juhani Palomaki (Rest his poor soul) had one of the most torturous and bleak lives you could possibly imagine, and you could easily hear that come out in both their music, and even moreso in his lyric writing.... Especially on their final album "Chapter 3: Parasomnia" (Which was recorded merely weeks before he died). These aren't your spoiled-brat, emo-scenester lyrics, these are the lyrics of truly damaged people.

@DisembowelMe I agree that the music is indeed great ~ But the thing with Doom (ESPECIALLY Funeral Doom/Death) like this, is that the lyrics aren't cynical, dismal, and depressing because they're all butthurt over something their mother did ~ These are grown-ass men, who're writing lyrics based off of their VERY bleak outlook on life and the world in general, due to very horrible things happening in their lives....>>>

@CradleOfBodom17 Ataraxie is known for their heaviness. You should hear "Walking Through the Land of Falsity". Insanely heavy!
