RGB LED ControllingRGB-LED are three closely placed Light Emitting Diodes with a common lens and different luminescence colors: Red, Green and Blue, which correspond to its abbreviation. Typically these three diodes have a combined single either plus (anode) or minus (cathode) conductor lead, therefore RGB LED has four leads. Actually, controlling RGB-LED means to control three different diodes. There are controllers with several output channels which allow carrying out various operations with LEDs and clusters of LEDs: controlling multicolor LED illumination, smooth color change, and series of color change with different time periods of change. RGB controllers are used to control the intensity of diodes luminescence and to create the static and dynamic light effects in decorative luminaries and LED lighting. Usually, the controller has several switching programs. It allows to adjust brightness for each channel and memorizes the last setup. This is an example of an RGB floodlight implemented according to a standard scheme with common LEDs and a low consuming controller. Design consists of 12 V built-in stabilized power supply and control board with 5 operation modes: smooth change of 4 colors - transition from one color to another, alternately switch of color - red, green, blue, yellow. To perform the control, the buttons on control board are used.
