AWESOME!!!

no, it was pretty hollow from the rag-tags of the army.
france was a rather large factor of success.

@DavBlc7 Victory wasn't that hollow. A small ragtag army beat the best army in the world after it was battle hardened fighting Napoleon, in what was literally one of the most lopsided victories in the history of warfare. While it had no real effect on the outcome of the war, it had a tremendous impact on the psyche of the Americans.

According to history - The British lost Florida not to US but to Spain who held it till they sold it to the USA a few years after the 1812 war. I think all loyalists fled to Barbados which is still British after Spain take over Florida.

@theolliepotter At New Orleans the battle was fought with the Yanks having won that one but their victory was hollow cos the war was already ended and news of the treaty reached both sides shortly after the battle.
Although we British won many battles no one really won the war so to save more lives, both sides agree on peace treaty. We haven't lost Canada but the US gained northern area of the present States moving border a few hundred miles to present border.
