@Coley8 What do you mean? I think vocally and in mannerisms he does quite well at being Peter, bearing in mind there was only one Peter Allen. The choreography (which was not really Hugh's fault) is kind of not quite Peter Allen's style though. (Too professional looking)

I remember seeing this... Amazing experience. And I was pretty little when this was on Broadway, and I developed a huge crush on this kid. He's amazing.

I think the kid's terrific, and I didn't expect him 2 give such effortless acrobatics and dancing! I know I couldn't do anything like that...as 4 being flat, well, his voice--though not the best ever heard, is still really good! It's not about how WELL he sings, it's whether he puts EMOTION in2 the song, and boy does he ever! Peter Allen is looking back at himself before he cultivated his gifts, he's not supposed to sound professional. He's supposed 2 b a kid w/ a great amount of potential.
