De adrede, es una exageracio'n. my mother, who is from South America, has an accent, and I'm around countless people, not only Argentinians, who have different accents in English.(I translate for latinos daily at the hospital where I work) So, I'd call myself an authority on the Americanized versions of Latin American, central American and/or Spanish or hispanic accents.
