  • Do you know that the name McRae is an early Virginia name. One branch traces it's heritage to the Rev. Christopher McRae b. 1733 Scotland, who came to Virginia and married Pamelia Harris. Pamelia Harris b. 1749 in Surrey County, Virginia, and was the daughter of John Harris and Martha Eldridge. This line traces it's ancestry to Pocahontas. Just an interesting tidbit.

  • Weird! My parents owned that house for many years. Who knew??! Actually, the house originally faced the adjacent street (90 degree angle) and it was moved.

  • who has the crime castle episode, featuring the carl rettich mansion in warwick r.i.

  • was it England that provided arms for the CSA or a private English contractor....this is a tad unclear in the video.
