God of War II: swimming glitch at Divine Pools

At BK: OK, so THAT didn't work.

Having a spot of trouble locating the loading trigger for what's behind the fire-shooting door. I've noticed that Kratos changes stances to normal when something has finished loading. (you will see that twice during this vid)

Is AotF necessary for passing the game? The way I see it, you only need it for last phase of Lakhesis fight. It doesn't seem Atropos actually takes damage if time is not slowed.

In that case, I recommend for the player to first run up to AotF, fetch it the normal way, then retrace back to Divine Pools to do this trick and skip much of the game. I haven't found a way to get the amulet and keep swimmingness (since the room is barred from all sides). Also, you can't get out of the amulet room/water corridor if you hadn't moved the mobile garden and revealed the water tunnel in the first place. EDIT: Also, pulling the switch and creating that small opening to the gate does NOT work. Passage is still impossible with swimming.

If you see anything like what's on the vid here and it's not a result of deliberate glitching, it could be a loading error.

how do you do the long jump>>>it took me 3 hr to do this glitch its driving me crazy. i need to know how do you do the long jump????replay please

You need to jump, use the Spear air attacks, then switch to another weapon than spear momentarily to be able to do a second jump, jump, switch back to spear, do spear air attacks again, then use PR in the middle of the jump (and cancel PR by turning the urn off) to switch direction, more spear air attacks, and then you gotta be lucky to hit the right spot. But seriously, Findlestick found a lot easier way to do this glitch at Divine Pools. Try to search it.

Yeah, it's hard. That's not even the hardest part, though, hitting the water at the end is.
