Sonia Belmont

My tribute to the seventh Belmont I played as. Sonia Belmont, the mother of Trevor Belmont.

If you read the description in my last Castlevania tribute, "Trevor Belmont" you will see why I think this is such a great Castlevania character and I think they should totally do a remake on her, Trevor and Alucard all packed into one game. They could even include Sypha and Grant into the game too. Too bad the Dreamcast Castlevania starring her was canceled before it could be completed.

Give "Likes" to this video if you think that is an awesome idea. I always liked the original Castlevania story and hate how they butchered it in the PS2 line.

@TheDacman124 I did not say that the retcon is a good thing. I'm just saying that they could have make an interesting story out of it if they didn't retcon Legends. They could have done something with it but they just wasted that opportunity by retconning it.

@BrolyLSSJ1987 Hey man Gabirel is not the Dracula that we all love to hate. Think of it this way Lords of Shadow has no connection to the rest of the series I know that you'll probely say "But it takes place before Lament of Innocenece" I know that too but LoS is a cannon title sheltered under the umbrella of Castlevania's name. @SMAXZO So what if Alucard and Sonia did the naughty-naughty and produced Trevor. I know what you mean about the whole "He who fights monsters" crap but I think that the whole reason that Konami and Igarashi got rid of Sonia is because they are sexist and that Shannoa (while not a bad character) was there attempt to say they aren't.

Which I thought it was stupid to erase the entire story of Sonia Belmont just because of that little bloodline crossing. If anything, they could have just made a remake which includes Sonia's love interest being Alucard, BUT in the end she ends up marrying or having a child with someone else since Alucard doesn't want to stain the Belmont blood with his own, leading to him breaking up with Sonia. See? Easy fix! But Nooo! they just wiped her out completely!

@Axelhander Funny how he retconned Sonia because female protagonists didn't fit the vampire motifs and wouldn't you know it, a couple of years later, Order of Ecclesia's main character is female.

@Axelhander If it was not retconned, it could create a very interesting scenario. I mean think about it, imagine what story that can be made if Trevor found out that Alucard is his father.

You know, if Legends was canon, that would mean that the Belmont line would be half vampires and pretty much becomes a "He who fights monsters" scenario. That and Trevor would be fighting along side his father in CV3.
