Casey Heynes FULL INTERVIEW on ACA

Casey Heynes, 16, says he suffered severe bullying most days at his Sydney school, Chifley College, with the abuse including being slapped, teased, and even taped to a pole.

The teenager became an internet sensation after footage of him fighting against a bully went viral last week.

"Everything just built up for three years and anger came out," he told A Current Affair.

"I wasn't really thinking. I was just like,'Yay. Finally it's over'."

im in wales and im 16, and i been ducktaped to a pole in a bathroom, i went back to collect my artwork ( i got an A*) and im a girl ok, and a year 9 boy was being bullied, everyone went home, i was alone, anyway, i stodd up for this boy, and soon enough, i ended being ducktaped to the bathroom toilet pole with the boy, 4 hours later, and the caretaker come and got us, next day..i punched them, and all is well.

@IMakeMoviesYes I agree but that doesn't change that Ritchard may be troubled and need help and that Casey may have said something to start it (though provocation is not a reasonable excuse). Just saying he may not be the evil rat every calls him.

@1stNightingale I'm sticking to my arguement. Casey got bullied without reason from Ritchard, and fought back. That's how i see it.

@IMakeMoviesYes Well he may not have been alone to start with. He may have been meeting his friends and when Casey picked on him maybe just as a "ill get him before he gets me" thing and then he went round the corner and his friends were there.

If you have been like him then you will know that he can be a normal boy he can be better but everyone's hatred will not help him it will only twist him further.
