Here's a segment from Screaming Yellow Theater - the original Svengoolie, which aired on WFLD Channel 32 from 1970-1973. Svengoolie was played by Jerry G. Bishop.

This Break #3 from an unknown episode number again features "Professor" Irwin Corey - from Mr. Kelly's. He's a comedian who is still around! Check out - http://www.irwincorey.org - his website and some other information - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irwin_Corey

Mister Kelly's was a nightclub on 1028 North Rush Street in Chicago which operated from 1957 to 1975 that specialized in live performances, notably by popular jazz artists. The musical directors at the club included Marty Rubenstein and Larry Novak.

The location formerly occupied by Mister Kelly's is now Gibsons Steakhouse.

I'm thinking that "SYT Theater #1" as the clapboard person says, refers to the fact that it's Movie #1. (2 movies a night were shown for most of the run of SYT)

This segment has the first appearance know to exist on tape by Zelda - Svengoolie's talking skull pal! (and mother to Tombstone?) (Jerry G. Bishop did the voice of Zelda, by the way)

This segment also features Svengoolie's parody of "American Pie" as well as a look at this week's "Scare" mail.

Could that be Rich Koz saying "Berwyn?!" in the background about 2 minutes in?

Names mentioned (as far as I could make out): Leslie, Mitch, and Ken Gruben in Westchester - Brian Hamilton in Kenosha, the gang at the Olympic Savings & Loan (in Berwyn I think).

According to the TV listings, the two movies shown this night were "Return From The Past" (verified by what Svengoolie himself says in the Break #1) and "The Woman Who Came Back", so we can say that this aired during the former.

The song you hear in the background was Svengoolie's theme song, the 1958 instrumental "Rumble" by Link Wray and his Ray Men. (with a loop of some screams added for good measure)

Directed by Phil Doty.

This aired on local Chicago TV on Friday, March 3rd 1972.
