Anh Cao, Only GOP To Vote For Health Reform, Talks To CNN

The morning after the House passed the health care reform bill 220-215, CNN interviews one of the Congressmen who voted for the bill, Anh "Joseph" Cao from Louisiana - the only Republican to vote "yes" for the bill. Cao claims it was "a decision of conscience... to support the health care reform bill... it was the right decision for the people of my district."

Bless his heart....I'm a nurse in Puerto Rico and We'd never allow our people to suffer the way they do over in America via HMO exploitation. How can the Republicans be so callous and evil? Every other industrialized country has universal care and so should the U.S......You guys are only the most powerful because you exploit and abuse your own the most and it's enough already. In a Dem+28 district, his days were numbered and only won because his opponent, William Jefferson, went to jail for 13 years. So, repeal passes the house with more BIPARTISAN support than enactment got.

And they're important to influential, intelligent people. Dr. Francis S. Collins, the leader of the Human Genome, project has a strong belief in God.
