I purchased and picked up this little beauty a few weeks ago, but delays in getting the ammunition and a heavy workload prevented me from making this video sooner.

However, yippie! The ammunition I was waiting on came in, and after a bit of playing around with the furniture in my room I was able to get some decent lighting for a review vid.

Beretta came out with the original Tomcat several decades ago, and it's a fantastic weapon in its own right. But as ammunitions developed a flaw was discovered in its design. A discharge pressure of +130psi could, after a few clips, crack the frame or barrel, rendering the weapon unsafe or totally inoperable.

Beratta took steps to solve this by changing the material of the barrel and frame; going from hardened aluminum to the INOX's stainless steel.

I haven't seen any videos about the INOX pistol on youtube yet, so I'm uploading this as a little short sampler for anyone searching for a look at one. I'll have a range video up hopefully sometime in the future.

  • I absolutely agree in a back ground check. In my state there is an instant background check for firearm purchases, including handguns, once you are cleared you walk out with your firearm in no more than 20 minutes. If you wish to wait two weeks and have no problem with that, fine. I'm a law abiding citizen and have a valid concealed carry permit and I don’t see any reason behind waiting 2 weeks. I'm just glad I don't live in your state.

  • In the gun buying process in Maryland, I'm surprised you don't have to have a home visit by the Maryland Gestapo for them to make sure all your papers are in order before they release the firearm to you.

  • @SSJ3Mewtwo oh IM the dumb one not you who thinks people should be banned from carrying a gun because they've been locked up in the past newsflash they did suffer the results of societies laws however good or bad some of them are they lost years of their freedom for it and you can already have many felony convictions expunged from your record but it takes 7 years after release which is too long

  • @tubevideoguy762 And now you've gone from saying that the law is inadequate, that anyone should be able to carry no matter how irresponsible they've shown themselves to be, to standing on a soapbox about the superiority of beliefs, saying that even though someone who's already victimized people should somehow not be held responsible for that, and that a state in the US is communistic.

I'm not sure if you're being a deliberate idiot because this is youtube, but you're being dumb

  • @SSJ3Mewtwo keep thinking as the government wants you to thats fine with me ive taken plenty of criticism for my beliefs in the past but yes the laws on the books sometimes are the cause of overcrowding i am a strong believe of "no victim no crime" when someone is released from prison and wishes to not be made a victim what better way to protect themselves they cannot carry around a police officer. i dont expect you to understand because you live in maryland a communist state

  • @tubevideoguy762 That's a genuinely retarded statement. You're saying that it's the law's fault and as a way to draw a sort of comparison between the law's inadequacy you think they should otherwise -not be released from prison at all?-

If they're going to break the law then there's consequences to that, and if they're going to break the law when it comes to something that -kills people- then there are serious consequences to that. That should include not being able to carry.

  • @SSJ3Mewtwo oh sorry mr punctuation im not writing a graded essay and yes it is largely the laws fault if these people are still dangerous around firearms why would the correctional system release them in the first place they should be allowed to carry for protection just like everyone just like drug laws if a laws isn't just it will be broken most people will agree rape and murder are wrong for good reasons but using drugs and carrying weapons not at all

  • @tubevideoguy762

I disagree. Blaming the high count of the prison population on the way the laws are structured rather than on a felon's willingness to repeatedly break the law is silly. If they aren't responsible enough to carry before being convicted or they're convicted of a serious offense then they're not responsible or worthy enough to carry afterward.

As an extra note: Periods and punctuation are wonderful things!

  • @SSJ3Mewtwo uhh huh except those "felons" usually have to live in dangerous areas once released and one big reason the prison are full is because of firearm possession laws by convicted felons if they are trusted enough to be released into the public i say let them have their constitutional rights back there's so many guns on the streets anyway no sense in rearresting people carrying for protection

  • Excellent description, I am thinking of getting the Inox model myself (due to the cracked slide problems on the other models, as you mention). I don't like the idea double-action only autos - I'd like to have the ability to take aimed shots if necessary. Thanks again for the video!

  • @SSJ3Mewtwo background checks take about half an hour at best and if the buyer passes the background check then they can byuy the gun on the same day.

  • @SSJ3Mewtwo I dont know about your area, but a background check takes 5 minutes.
