  • Congrats on the new bike. It is a great bike and I'll always remember it.

  • How much do these bikes typically cost used?

  • @mathiasparks Yamaha doesn't show the vstar 650 on the site anymore. But you can buy used for about 4-5K.

  • nice video,I just got my 650 and love it thanks for posting

  • Congrats. The 650 is a great bike and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed mine -- it's a very confidence inspiring bike being nice and low and nimble.

  • i think u forgot to mention the side mirrors...they look more like after market. But wutever...awesome bike.

  • I think you're right. I'm not sure what brand of aftermarket mirrors they are. I also put the fisheye circles on them to eliminate blindspots; got them at Walgreens for $2.99 US. Thanks for the comment

  • Hello from Australia, Thanks for sharing, just bought mine, and am so delighted with the bike.

  • you can buy these bikes used for $3,000. Thats how much mine was, I bought a used 1998 last summer. the thing still looks brand new and is in prefect shape. Fantastic bike, great beginner or intermediate bike. Long rides I found my knees hurting from being in a bent postion (I'm 5'10) and I haven't taken it on the highway. My bike can only do around 120km/h and it was screaming! If you are from Ontario there are a few dealers in the Toronto area selling some 2001-2004 for around 3-5k.

  • Wind shields are nice as long as you don't hit anything,,,,your face is history in a crash.....LOL

  • nice bike,I have one vstar custom 650 2006 great bike

  • nice bike. sounds like you are riding a bunch,, good!..
