My mom had this soundtrack and used to play it in the car. I always sang along to this song and I still love it more than anything. Though the thing that sucks is that I've never seen Gladiator... That can soon change. :)

I don't think there is a film in which the protagonist makes his name clearer than this one. So to say this is one of your "favourite films ever!", and call Maximus, Sparticus is idiotic.

It's a nice video, but you've got your information wrong.
The song is by Hans Zimmer and sung by Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance) and the main character is not Spartacus, but Maximus Decimus Meridius. The former is a historical character who led a slave revolt and the latter is a fictional character loosely influenced by Narcissius, the historical killer of Commodus.
