much of what we see here resembles the english patient and the constant gardener... the beauty of the sky helps make a separate peace from the muddy ground, muddy in all senses, and therefore , feel devoid of any earthly sins

Imagine a beautiful African landscape beneath. Canyons, flowing streams, endless herds of wilderbeast, an array of birdlife swarming on the lake. Sophia Loren at the front of the plane. And the pilot....that man....is me.
