Just remember in really windy conditions like that, you can launch off to the side of the wind window for a more forgiving launch. When hot launching that kite, be ready to use the 3 line depower in case this happens again. good luck!

Ahh I saw once it flew up it wasn't a ranger. I'm from Anchorage. I bet there is some awesome kiting to do over there since it is always windy like crazy!! Well good luck!

the kite is Slingshot B-5,. it is not a depower kite., uses 3 bridles,.
