OMFG!!!! My hair stood up and I got the chills starting @ 2:33...this kinda footage make me want to hook up the boat alone and go out for 24 hrs straight!!! lol...what a great video, thanks for posting!!

unplugged... you dont need anything but a direct tie to your bait.. punkers are ok baits... expensive for stripers tho.. pencil poppers with gamagatsu 4x hooks and a spook is all you need,,, if they miss... throw a swim bait back at them .. !!

@russnyder - Do you use shock leaders with the 65lb braid? If so how long is it? Thx

@svtkilr- My boat is out of commission for a little while. Once I take care of everything I will be back out on the water doing guided fishing trips. Still might be a couple months. Keep an eye out on my website, I will be sure to let everyone know when things are up and running.

What knot do you use for the lunker punker or how do you rig it? Thanks.

@Methos713 I use a uni knot when using 65lb braid, and a rapala knot when using 20-25 lb mono

is the injected lunker punker as good as the wood?

I use the wood Lunker Punker about 75% of the time. Because it's heavier, it seems to have a longer glide when walking the bait from side to side. When there is a little chop from the wind, or the water is a bit stained, I will use the injected Punker with rattles. Both work well, it just depends on the conditions.
