i have a vision of all of americas black youth;
going to schools that will finally teach them the truth

the truth about his-story and our-story
raw and uncut and in all of its glory

i have a vision of schools with all blk teachers
people we can relate to, people who can reach us

people who care and who really understand
that it is hell growing up young and blk in this land

i have a vision of schools with leadership courses
where ethics and morality are also offered
schools where childrens talents are recognized
and cultivated right before our very eyes

i have a vision of schools that will teach us unity
and the importance of building a strong black community

schools that address our pain, our suffering, our sorrow
and fill us with hope for a better tomorrow

schools that teach god and his infinite wisdom
and give a thourough understanding of the three major religions

i have a vision of schools in the neighborhood i live in
that teach us to respect our elders and women

schools that teach the art of self-defense
and are determined to turn young boys to men

schools that turn our beautiful girls into queens
by teaching the value of being virtuous and clean

i have a vision of schools that kill stereotypes
and teach that freedom and justice are god given rights

i hope all of you that took the time to read this
will agree with this vision and agree that we need this

cause if we're gonna change the children and the future theyll live in
then we better star working on this vision

Great video, very positive and informing. But to hell with the white racist who commited on this blog, to hell with them all. Our dream will become realiity when white supremacy stop interfering with black progress. Whites are quick to talk down on blacks but work day and night to stop our development.
