Laika Star stereo sound update

This is a re-render of my 2007 'Laika Star' video taking advantage of current YouTube capability for stereo sound and widescreen format.

"Laika Star in the sky, every now and then passing by, like a star"...Laika the Russian space dog who was sent up to die in orbit. Many believed it was just a cruel publicity stunt. Oleg Gazenko, one of the lead scientists on the Soviet animals-in-space program, later expressed his deep regrets during a Moscow news conference: "The more time passes, the more I'm sorry about it. We shouldn't have done it.... We did not learn enough from this mission to justify the death of the dog."

You don't need to go to space to find mistreatment of animals. I'd hope most viewers of this video would be happy to give animals a voice to halt the needless cruelty and experimentation which continues right here on earth.. A good place to learn about animal rights issues or just lend support is at the PETA website. http://www.peta.org/
