but, i think only gran-gran was originally from the north pole, if thats the case, she would've likely married a southern tribesmen give birth to mixed father or mother of kitara and sokka who would also in turned married a pure southern tribes-person and would have kids who were only a quarter white so the movie's representation would still be somewhat off

AND ONE LAST THING! Why the hell did the firebenders bow to the Avatar when he won? The firebenders are indoctrinated at birth to believe that they're the supiorior race and that any other form of bending is filth. So why would the firebenders who, according to this stuipid movies OWN definition, exist to hunt down the Avatar and kill him, BOW to him?!?!?! I hate this movie! I hate everything about it!!! And I'm glad so many people think so too!

ALSO! One of the things I hated most about the movie was that Shyamalan tries to make us think that Ong was entirely responsible for the airbender's death, when there was an ENITRE episode dedicated to establishing that it was fate that Aang ran away.That there was nothing he could've done and he would've just been killed if he'd stayed. Plus, what was up with the dragon being like "You the Avatar so you can't hurt people"? The Avatar can hurt people if he's trying to PROTECT THE FREAKIN WORLD!

YEEES!! FINALLY! I'm so glad someone brought up the BS "Oh I can't have a family so being the avatar sucks" excuse. NOOO 12 year old kid in their right mind would EVER care about that! Least of all Aang, oh I'm sorry ONG.Not that ONG was anything like Aang in the first place, but that was just the final nail in the coffin for me. Getting taken away from Gyatso, his parent who'd loved and raised him all his life, would be something that would freak out A KID enough that they'd run away from home.

@leoninja Genes are not that one sided and predictable. Don't forget gene traits can pop up out of nowhere. A lot of confusion could of been avoided IF THEY EXPLAINED AT THE PART THEY MET PAKKU, THE RELATIONSHIP KATARA AND SOKKA AND GRAN-GRAN HAVE WITH THEIR SISTER TRIBE!
