  • the joists are only temporary to be used as falsework for the concrete flooring, then they are taken away, unless sometimes they use aluminium decking which is kept in place and then used to attach service cables to the roof of the floor below. even then temporary support is needed to keep the steel decking in place so they still use temporary timber falsework

  • 4x6 joists and stringers for a high rise...Why? Wouldnt aluma joists or MEVA last alot longer?
