@darknight068 Because they did a remixed soundtrack on third strike and added some rendered 3d to some of the menu effects that tooke memory that could have been used to keep uncompressed sprites.

3rd strike on DC was capcom's "let's add more flashy stuff to the front end even if we sacrifice accuracy to the arcade version"

DC 3rd strike also has a "slower" AI compared to the arcade version.

I really really hope that when capcom eventually does a release of Streetfighter III on xbla and psn they don't just put 3rd strike .... I want Hyper street fighter III (like hyper II and hyper alpha, all the backgrounds and character move sets from all three versions of street fighter III)
