Philip's guitar music played on an 11 string "arch" guitar. James Kline performed this in Berkeley, CA in 2001. I broadcasted this on the SF Guitar Society TV Show in San Francisco. The music is by P. Rosheger but James added counter melodies as well as a coda at the end of the piece. Philip told me he wrote this in his sleep. James can be reached at elevenstrings dot com.

What you say is true. James lived as a tour guide in the outskirts of Mexico and loved it there. He even wrote a piece of music called "Desert Moon" which was inspired by his desert experiences.

  • @TimHGuitar wher i can find that song, and where i can get the notes for this serensde?

  • I was at this recital.Brings back memories!

  • Oh when the saints....Oh when the saints.......

  • Excellent thumb work there! I play a 10-string guitar and it's hard work keeping tracks of the bass strings so that they don't mess with the harmonics. Very nicely done by James.
