I agree 100% with you regarding the coming of Jesus Christ.
Another danger of believing that there will be a secret rapture is that these people also believe that the Anti-Christ will arrive on the scene AFTER they are raptured, which means they won't recognize the Anti-Christ when he comes because they will think that it can't be him because they haven't yet been secretly raptured. For that reason, the great possibility exists that they will take the mark of the beast.

FYI: There are some believers who refer to 1 Thess. 15-18 as the rapturing up of God's people. In other words, "gathered up" or "caught up" is referred to as the rapture by some believers who DO NOT believe in a secret rapture. Perhaps they have used an incorrect word, but the "catching up" is what they mean by rapture.
