On March 6, the Vice President's former chief of staff was found guilty in a federal court of lying and obstructing justice. Scooter Libby's trial and conviction confirms what many of us already knew. Instead of focusing on a strategy to win the war or care for our troops, White House officials concocted a plot to attack an outspoken war critic -- a critic who in the end was correct in his assessment about the faulty use of intelligence in the run up to the war in Iraq.
