@onewhitesheep yeah I kind of messed up with my comment you see when this one clip is taken out of the context of the movie it was easy to assume that and then I watched the uploaded movie(I didn't know it was on youtube until I did some searching) and realized differently so thn it becomes quite sweet what he says. kind of jumped to conclusions before.

@ericnfan Well, I 'm pretty sure Mesmer is not her father in this movie. It's just that, in this scene, he subjects her to hypnosis or something, and brings back a memory . I don't remember really well, but I know Mesmer is not the girl's father.(thank goodness) ;)

@onewhitesheep it is strange that he was called up to do this movie about sexually abusing his daughter and he had sex with his daughter in an awfully big adventure. It seems no other actor will take this parts so they call alan rickman and he is like sure. creepy.

@onewhitesheep wow was not expecting her to saw no father. that is messed up. didn't know at all that was his daughter. he has this look like he thought she would never say a thing about it and because she is blind probably never guessed before. I am a bit confused but anyway what a twisted part of that. he also had sex with his daughter in an awfully big adventure except in that movie he didn't know because she was kept away from him for years. this movie he fully knows.

The secret is that her father sexually abuses her.You can tell because when Mesmer touches her she cries "no,father!".Also,I read it in the IMDb summary.
