@MagicTellaVision The Sun God of the Celts (Cernunnos, Bel, and Lugh, Oak King) was summoned at Beltane (named after Bel) as well as Midsummer and Yule. The Moon Goddess was known by many names; Arianhrod, Cerridwen, Danu, Morrigan, Macha, and Babd. The belief of Triple Deities originated with the Celts (Morrigan was sometimes referred to as 'the Triple Morrigan'). The Moon Goddess and the Horned God are the oldest known Deities. The Moon Goddess was honored every full and dark Moon.

@MagicTellaVision The Druids were not the people who wrote the Brehon Laws, but they originated from them. It is, however, possible that the monks who wrote them were Druids in disguise. The Brehon Laws were in use all around Eirinn, as well as Alba, which few people know about. The Welsh and Cornish had similar laws (also of Druidic teaching), called the Laws of Hywel Dda.

@zlessly People along the atlantic coast in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and western Norway are darker and a bit shorter than the modern celts and Germanic tribes from the east, But they might be what my dad calls the ancient celts.
