  • How can anyone see a campaign where saving lives and protecting human rights as "biased"? This is NOT about one political issue being right or wrong. Our media will give all the "hype" a country hosting the Olympics warrants, but with Steven Kim's story coming to light and learning about his struggle to save lives, maybe the media will be moved to report The horrific injustice of the North Koreans in China!

  • How can a peace campaign be considered "biased" when it's the taking of lives and human rights being violated that are the issues? Also, how can a country claim poor economic conditions on one hand, spend the multi-millions is takes to host the Olympics? Real PEOPLE cannot be used as political pawns; we cannot turn a blind eye to this--turning a blind eye is how regimes like Hitlers were able to exist!

  • Helping North Korean refugees flee from Kim Jong Il's regime is an honor just to hear about it. I think nuclear threats are out of the question because North Korea is a close ally. Allowing China's government to send these refugees to neigboring countries to me should be allowed.

  • You are right being ignorant on this type of dilemma is not logical. That is why Steven Kim and other's should be supported or recognized in fighting for freedom on this regime.

  • North Korea is a nation that highly relies on Kim Jong Il's regime. But, since South Korea, their opposition, lies right next to them North Korean citizens are vulnerable to the democratic society. North Korea should rely on evangelists to help them live at a higher standard no matter what. This shouldn't be considered a crime.

  • I think sending North Korean refugees to other countries is the best bet. China is considered an ally so I think nuclear threats are out of the question. It is in my best interest to help them cross over neighboring borders for safety. This can be done by religious interest and support.

  • Wow - that's an interesting stance on the fact that people are being murdered, tortured and imprisoned just because of their ethnicity. The best thing to do is all work together to CHANGE the mindset that what's going on in North Korea is okay - or the "it's not my problem" mentality.

  • Peace champaigns are so biased. We're all humans, and I am from China. Do you think as a human, we like sending escaping North Koreans back to North Korean death camps? Absolutely no! But its hard for us to keep these North Koreans in China because our economy cannot support so many refugees, and even if we're glad to send them else where other than North Korea, they still have nukes pointed to us. The best thing to do is hand then over to resolve any tensions.
