@vinkelnisse do you HONESTLY think the US "commands" these countries to buy their planes??? they buy them because their price performance is unmatched anywhere on earth. russian fighters(and every other countries fighters for that matter)are BEYOND inferior to their american counterparts, if you want me to get into detail then just say so, i would be VERY HAPPY to oblige. also the F-22 and F-35 are the best two aircraft in existence today for their roles, literally NOTHING comes even close.

@hotpocketpoison Idiot! They choose the us fighters because usa say they have to do so. JAS 39 and ussr fighters rules the sky. F35 and F22 is to expensive to fly and their performance is not so good as it says! SU 27, 35 and MIG is far better in the sky. US fighters has no chanse att all in a dogfight with those planes! Dying to get a F 15!! Paaaaaaaaah.

@devrerffs uhh... first of all the jas-39 is more expensive than both the F-15C and F-16C COMBINED. secondly the F-16 is a FAR better bang for your buck than the jas-39(actually read my many previous comments for proof). and the F-15 is an INFINITELY superior air-air fighter. the only thing the jas-39 would have the upper hand in is a dog fight, but dog fights DO NOT WIN AIR ENGAGEMENTS! the F-15 and F-16 are also far better for multi role missions...so which one did YOU say was better again???

@hotpocketpoison First of all, jas 39 gripen is better than both f-15 and f-16 and still much cheaper. The reason countries buy f-15 and f-16 is to lick americas ass, like norway.Norway now think it would be better if the choosed gripen instead of f-16, much better and CHEAPER.

@adrianwillis360 uhh.. that is not even laughable, that falls into a completely new category. russian planes are absolutely inferior to american ones,if you like, i could compare whichever two you wish. and the germans have not made their own plane in decades(if you are talking about the EF typhoon then that design is mostly british, and the F-22 is far superior).
