The Mc DLT was the best burger back in the days. I'm hearing young people complain about the cheese being on the cool side. When McDonalds used to fry the burgers and not heat them up in a microwave like today. That hot side was HOT. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and the cheese cool not cold. So when you went to put them together the cheese hitting the HOT pattie melted instantly and together, it just melts in your mouth. Today, you're lucky if the pattie is heated up properly.
