  • indeed they are.

needless to say, that's not how i'd envisioned it beforehand.

had to sit down because otherwise i had to keep bending over to reach the laptop.. which was annoying after the first 2 minutes:)

  • ill keep that in mind if i put up more clips. (too busy right now to have time to edit)

  • @eschipul: i fixed that.

  • (yes, the video quality is horrible, i'm uploading this mostly because i know some people were interested in seeing how this speech turned out)

  • that's very odd that they didn't give you a podium, were you suppose to pace up and down the stairs? ;) congrats on the lecture, seems like it went well.

  • Followed the link from your profile at Flicr. I work at an insurancecompany in sweden who work a lot with Toyota with traficsafety. We use a "Black Box" in their cars called CPR = Crash Pulse Recorder. I'm at You Tube only to performe my daughters singing. At Flicr I ADMIN two groups. Greatings from Dick Wåhlin

  • Well done on the add campaign Rebekka! Although I shoot mostly macro I admire your work and a lot of what I see other photographers doing with light I incorporate into the small world that I capture. I too have had many contacts via Flickr -some of my images will be a a book for elementary children in Singapore :)

    Sincerely,

    Dalantech

  • Rebbeka in addition to your expertise as a photographer and the benefit to the Toyota's Marketing Campaign. You as the model for the campaign is also a very big asset for Toyota as well. As a talent with expertise in photography, drawing,as a spokesperson, a model, film maker, Your ability to express feeling and emotion that you would be a fine actress as well. Wow,you even knit. Very enjoyable to look through the window into your world from "out here". Thank you for sharing yourself.

  • That is so exciting and cool. Somehow it never "clicked" with me that your photos were being used THAT widely; I was under the (mistaken) impression that they just used a couple shots for print adverts. I mainly just remember the night shot of the car. This is all just the beginning for you -- I have no doubt that a LOT of success (and adventure) lies ahead for you.

  • We use Flickr for completely different reasons Rebekka (there are as many as there are participants, but they do tend to a handful of types I think), and I think the way in which you have used it to support and complement your studies is admirable.

  • Rebekka, It's really heart-warming to see where your work has gone too and the things you have achieved.

  • I only heard a few icelandic people talking english, but your accent is remarkable nice. :) hope to see more from you, maybe here in youtube too.

  • Nice - this is such a wonderful advert for the way in which the user generated content movement can actually bring benefit to the user.
