Climate change is not a threat to our species, as humans our ability to adapt is one of our greatest assets. The real threat is the threat to our way of life. This is what will change. Most of the human population live on or near the coasts. Mankind relies on ships to transport goods from place to place. Once the sea level rises many of the ports will be under water. The infrastructure that supports global trade will not be able to function. A great deal of money will be lost.
