After thousands of Canadians voted on liberal.ca for their favourite Harper quote on health care, Liberals used the winning quote in this new TV ad entitled "Harper on Health Care."
After the Liberal Party announced our decision to update the "Health Risk" ad, we launched a contest where Canadians could pick their favorite among the copious number of quotes where Stephen Harper spoke out in favour of private, for-profit health care and his desire to eliminate federal funding for universal health care.

Denounced Canada as a "welfare state in the worst sense of the term."
Calls universality "virtually dead as a concept".
Open to American-style "private, for profit" health care.
Demands elimination of federal funding for universal health care.
